New Dimensions is using Emergent Curriculum which is a child-directed and teacher facilitated approach to learning. As such it

 

-is a way of planning curriculum based on the children’s interests and passions;

​

-believes that children thrive and learn best when their interests are captured, and when they can investigate their own questions and

curiosities;

​

-is play-based and occurs naturally;

​

-requires our Early Childhood Educators to use observation, documentation, creative brainstorming, flexibility and patience in their planning.
