Our Programs > Toddler / Preschool – 24 to 59 months

The toddler and preschool programs are based on emergent curriculum. Emergent curriculum is based on the interests of the children which creates meaningful learning experiences.

​

The teacher acts as the facilitator creating a developmentally appropriate learning environment allowing children to explore materials and engage in relevant activities based on the children's individual skills, personal needs and interests.

 

The flexible, daily schedule involves free play, outdoor time, snacks/lunch and ten carefully prepared areas (Dramatic Play, Block, Gross Motor, Music, Science, Art, Manipulative, Sand, Water and Book).

Documentation of activities and family involvement are also components of emergent curriculum. Through this curriculum, all areas of development are enhanced, allowing all children to reach their fullest potential.
